•Running costs based on a temperature of -18˚c are approximately 40% cheaper per hour for a 31 pallet Coldstore than for a container. This is less running power for an additional 13 pallet capacity, proof that our Coldstores are more energy efficient.

•A Coldstore has 115mm wall thickness compared to a container which only has 50mm of insulation. This extra 65mm contributes further to better efficiency.

•A vital point if your cold storage needs to be located near a residential area is the fact that noise pollution from a container is 63% more than the noise pollution from a Coldstore.

•While both types of unit offer temperature monitoring, a container can only store information for 31 days, whereas a Coldstore can store up to 365 days, and this information can be viewed over the internet if required.

•Furthermore Coldstores have the safety features of 300 lux lighting and non-slip resin floors which reduce the risks of slips, trips and falls.
